Illegal drugs seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized illegal drugs worth about Tk 47 lakh from Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat district early yesterday.

Acting on a tip-off, the border guards raided Radhabari area around 3:00am and seized 1, 90,000 tablets.

However, none was arrested in this connection, said M Ashraf Ali, deputy director of BGB-3 Battalion.
