Man held with fake notes

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a man along with fake notes worth Tk one lakh in Puronbazar area under Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district on Saturday night. The arrestee is Jayed Ali, 32, son of Didar Hossain of Biramchar village in Sadar upazila. Md Iqbal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Chunarughat Police Station, said on secret information, a team of Rab-9 raided the area and arrested Jayed at around 10:00pm. Jayed was later handed over to the police station, said the OC.
