One arrested for cheating

Police arrested a man in a cheating case in Joypurhat on Sunday. The arrestee is Ahsan Habib of Sabujnagar area under Joypurhat municipality. They also seized 52 bags containing sugar mixed with sand from his shop. Police and locals said Habib recently started wholesale sugar trading in Natunhat area on Joypurhat-Akkelpur road. On suspicion, buyers opened up the bags and found sand instead of sugar in the bags on Sunday afternoon. On information, police arrested Habib from the spot and filed a case in this connection.
