Pistol, bullets seized, two siblings arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion arrested two siblings along with a foreign made pistol and ammunitions from Ekbalia village in Sadar (South) upazila on Monday night.

The arrestees are Emon Hossain and Mir Hossain, sons of Abul Mia of the village.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-11, led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shah Shibli Sadik, raided Abul Mia's house at night and arrested the duo.

The elite force also recovered a pistol, a magazine and five bullets from their possession.

The arrestees were accused in eight cases filed with Sadar (South) and Comilla Model Police Stations, police said.
