Youth held with pistols

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an arms peddler from Shadashipur village in Shibganj upazila at around 6:00pm on Tuesday.The arrestee was identified as Abdul Momin, 22, son of Ismail Hossain of the village in the upazila. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-5 raided a mango orchard and arrested Ismail with two foreign pistols and four magazines. Later, Rab handed over Momin and the arms to Shibganj Police Station and filed a case against him under the Arms Act.
