Youth stabbed to death

A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his uncle and two cousins over a family feud at Mridhapara village in Mymensingh Sadar upazila yesterday.

The deceased is Emdadul Haque, 30, son of Rajab Ali of the village.

Quoting victim's family members, Sub-inspector Ataur Rahman of Sadar Police Station said Emdadul engaged in an altercation with his uncle Mannan at Mridhapara Ferry Ghat over various family matters.

As a sequel to the matter, when Emdadul reached near his house around 1:30pm, Mannan along with his two sons waylaid him and again had an altercation.

At one stage, they stabbed him, leaving him dead on the spot.
