Artcell set for comeback tour across Canada
Popular Bangladeshi rock band Artcell is set to return to the stage after a ten-month break. The band will begin a tour of Canada in September.
The tour is scheduled to start on September 13 in Vancouver. According to guitarist Iqbal Asif Jewel, discussions are underway to hold concerts in other cities, including Toronto and Calgary. The final schedule will be announced on the band’s official Facebook page.
Artcell last performed in Australia in November. The band had been away from concerts for several months. Jewel said the break followed personal and other reasons, including the death of vocalist Lincoln’s mother. Lincoln later travelled to the United States and is now in Canada, where he is coordinating the upcoming shows.
The band is expected to perform both popular and new songs during the tour. Bassist Cezanne will join the group from Australia.
The current lineup of the band includes Lincoln, Shaju, Jewel, Faisal and Cezanne.
