James and Zayed Khan to share stage in Lisbon
A special event titled “Lisbon Bangla Live Concert 2026”, has been organised for the Bangladeshi community in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. The event will take place on July 26 and will be headlined by Bangladeshi rock icon James. Actor Zayed Khan will also perform on the same stage.
The event will mark Zayed Khan’s first visit to Portugal and his first live stage performance in the country.
Zayed Khan told the media that he is very excited to perform for the first time in the country of football star Cristiano Ronaldo. “I will have the opportunity to meet the Bangladeshi community there and showcase our culture. It feels wonderful just thinking about it,” he shared.
According to organisers, the concert will be held at Lisboa ao Vivo, beginning at 5:00pm. James is expected to perform his most celebrated songs, offering audiences a memorable musical evening.
Organising bodies Casa do Bangladesh and Noticia Bangla said Zayed Khan’s stage performance and interaction with the audience are expected to bring a different dynamic to the event.
The concert has already generated strong interest among Bangladeshis living in Lisbon. According to the organisers, it is expected to be one of the largest Bangla music events ever held in Portugal.
