Menon Khan, Sahil Sanjan reunite for new single ‘Mon Akash’
Bangladeshi composer and music producer Menon Khan has reunited with vocalist Sahil Sanjan for their new original song, “Mon Akash”. The release brings together artistes and music professionals from Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.
“Mon Akash” is a contemporary Bangla song that explores themes of emotion, hope and personal reflection. The project marks another collaboration between Menon and Sahil, who have previously worked together on original Bangla music.
Speaking about the release, Menon said, “Music has always been my strongest form of expression. ‘Mon Akash’ represents emotion, hope and personal growth. Reuniting with Sahil for this release made the project even more meaningful because we have shared a creative understanding for many years.”
Sahil said the song reflects their shared passion for creating original Bangla music. “Working with Menon has always been a rewarding experience. We understand each other’s creative vision, and ‘Mon Akash’ reflects our continued passion for creating original Bangla music that connects emotionally with listeners,” he said.
The song features lyrics by Adib Al Mohsin, while the mixing and mastering were completed by UK-based audio engineer Arafat Kirty. Menon composed and produced the music, with Sahil lending his vocals to the track.
“Mon Akash” highlights a creative collaboration between contributors based in Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. The release adds another original Bangla song to Menon Khan and Sahil Sanjan’s growing body of collaborative work.
