A new podcast blending travel, lifestyle and entertainment has entered the scene, as Shahiduzzaman Selim and Rosey Siddique joined the launch of “Chutir Golpo”, an initiative by Chuti Coxbazar.

The inaugural episode, recorded at Sheraton Dhaka on Sunday (May 17) night, featured the celebrated couple in an intimate conversation about their decades-long marriage, acting journeys, memorable travels at home and abroad, and personal thoughts on hospitality and tourism.

Hosted by Arman Parvez Murad, the session leaned more toward storytelling than a formal interview. During the event, Selim and Rosey were also introduced as goodwill ambassadors for the organisation through an official signing ceremony attended by company officials and guests.

Speaking at the launch, Rosey said she enjoyed sharing personal stories in such a lively setting and hoped audiences would connect with future episodes as well. Selim, meanwhile, praised the aesthetic vision behind Chuti Coxbazar’s initiatives, saying the new podcast reflected the organisation’s wider approach to tourism and hospitality.

According to organisers, the first episode of “Chutir Golpo” will premiere on Chuti Coxbazar’s official YouTube channel during Eid. Future episodes are expected to feature guests from different creative and professional backgrounds, including artists, architects and tourism figures, while also moving beyond studio conversations into outdoor locations such as hills, forests and seaside destinations.

At the formal segment of the evening, Chairman Muhammad Tariq Mahmud and Managing Director Mohammad Mizanur Rahman welcomed the couple with ceremonial scarves before the signing ceremony took place.

The evening concluded with a musical performance by Rizia Parveen. Event management and concept support for the launch were handled by Ishtishon Communications.
