Veteran singer Fahmida Nabi is set to release two new original songs while preparing for a concert tour in the United States this August.

The tracks, titled "Obhiman Sheshe" and "Janalar Kach", mark the singer's latest additions to her catalogue of original music.

Speaking about "Obhiman Sheshe", Fahmida said the song was written by Raju Ahmed, composed by Ehsan Rahi, with music arranged by Suman Kalyan. It will be released under the Shabdo Karigor label.

Her second song, "Janalar Kach", features lyrics by Imon Ahmed, while Kamruzzaman Sujon handled both the composition and music arrangement. The song was recently recorded.

Fahmida described both tracks as deeply satisfying creative experiences.

"It's been a long time since I sang two songs that truly resonated with me. I'm very happy with how they've turned out," she said.

The singer also reflected on the growing influence of viral culture in the music industry, saying she prefers meaningful songwriting over chasing trends.

"From production companies to listeners, everyone seems to be looking for viral content these days. We look for meaningful lyrics and beautiful melodies—we can't simply follow the current. Our songs may not become instant viral hits, but they are made for the listeners who genuinely appreciate my music. I hope they will enjoy these two songs," she said.

Alongside performing compositions by other musicians, Fahmida continues to write and compose her own music. She revealed that several self-composed songs are currently being arranged and will be released on her official YouTube channel in the near future.

Her most recent solo release, "Kheyali Sur", was published on her YouTube channel two months ago. The song featured lyrics by Amirul Islam Arun, with composition and music by Fuad Naser.

In addition to her new releases, Fahmida confirmed she will travel to the United States on August 8 for two live performances. She is scheduled to perform in Virginia on August 16 and Los Angeles on August 29.
