An interdisciplinary exhibition exploring how architecture can foster more inclusive, climate-responsive, and community-oriented public spaces is now underway at Bengal Shilpalay in Dhaka. Titled “Dialogues in Coexistence: Shaping Inclusive Public Spaces in the Bengal Delta”, the exhibition runs from June 27 to July 25, 2026.

Written by acclaimed Bangladeshi author Syed Waliullah and directed by Mintu Sarder, the play explores the timeless themes of greed, material desire and the human impulse to possess what belongs to others.

Padatik Natya Sangsad will host the annual Syed Badruddin Hossain Memorial Theatre Festival and Award Ceremony from June 25 to 30 in memory of late theatre personality, language movement activist, educator and lifelong Padatik president Syed Badruddin Hossain.

The festival will be held from June 17 to 19 at the Studio Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, with performances beginning daily at 7pm.
