After receiving a positive response in Bangladeshi cinemas, "Malik" is now set to meet audiences in Australia, with leading actor Arifin Shuvoo travelling to attend the film's premiere screenings.

The actor departed Dhaka for Australia today ahead of a series of special screenings organised for the Bangladeshi diaspora.

According to organisers, premiere shows of "Malik" will be held on June 13 and 14 at Hoyts Bankstown in Sydney. The events are being arranged by Bongo Films.

In addition to Sydney, special screenings of the film are also scheduled to take place in Melbourne and Adelaide, where Shuvoo is expected to make appearances.

The actor will attend the screenings in person and watch the film alongside audiences. He is also expected to interact with viewers and share insights about the project.

Confirming the news, Shuvoo said he is excited to see the film reach international audiences.

"'Malik' is now being released on the international stage. I want to experience watching the film in a theatre with Bangladeshi audiences living abroad. I believe everyone will enjoy the film," he said.

Since its release in Bangladesh, "Malik" has generated encouraging responses from moviegoers. The film has expanded its theatrical run in its second week, adding screenings at several new single-screen cinemas across the country.

In a video message addressed to audiences in Australia, Shuvoo invited fans to attend the screenings.

"Hello Australia, this is your Arifin Shuvoo. I will be joining you in Sydney on June 13 and 14 with my new film 'Malik'," he said.

The actor also noted that if the Sydney screenings receive a strong response, organisers may explore additional screenings in other Australian cities.

He encouraged audiences to attend the film with family and friends and enjoy the cinematic experience together.
