‘Dhurandhar 2’ crosses ₹1400 crore worldwide
“Dhurandhar 2”, starring Ranveer Singh, has crossed ₹1400 crore at the global box office within 13 days of release, becoming the first Bollywood film to achieve the milestone without relying on the China market.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller continues its strong theatrical run into its second week, maintaining momentum both domestically and overseas.
The film has amassed approximately ₹899 crore net (₹1085 crore gross) in India, crossing the ₹900 crore mark with early Wednesday screenings. On its 13th day, it earned ₹27 crore net domestically — a near 10 percent increase from Monday — following a record-breaking second weekend haul of ₹170 crore net, the highest ever for Indian cinema.
Internationally, "Dhurandhar 2" has also delivered impressive numbers. After opening with $7 million overseas, the film collected over $22 million in its first weekend. Despite a midweek slowdown, it rebounded in its second weekend and added nearly $1 million on Tuesday, taking its international total to $38.4 million.
The film has emerged as the highest-grossing Indian release in several overseas territories, including North America, where it has surpassed the long-standing record set by “Baahubali 2” nearly a decade ago.
Earlier, the film crossed ₹1000 crore worldwide within its first week, driven by a strong opening that saw it earn over ₹100 crore net in its first three days.
