Eid television line-up features celebrity shows and magazine specials

Television channels are bringing a wide range of celebrity shows, magazine programmes, and festive specials to audiences this Eid-ul-Azha, with line-ups featuring music, comedy, performances, celebrity conversations, and light-hearted debates.

Bangladesh Television will air its popular magazine programme “Anondomela” on Eid day after the 10:00pm news bulletin. Hosted by Afran Nisho, the programme will feature dance performances, songs, comedy segments, short dramatic sketches, and appearances by several stars.

ATN Bangla will broadcast the magazine show “Panchforon” on the second day of Eid at 10:30pm. The programme has been arranged around Eid celebrations and contemporary topics, and will include songs, special reports, and dramatic segments.

Channel i is set to air “Krishoker Eid Anondo” at 4:30pm on the day after Eid. Planned, directed, and hosted by Shykh Seraj, this year’s edition was filmed at Dream Holiday Park in Narsingdi.

ATN Bangla will also broadcast the humorous debate programme “Amii Sera Patro” on Eid day at 10:30pm. Directed by Nahidul Islam Apu and hosted by Mousumi Mou, the episode will feature actress Keya Payel as a guest.

Meanwhile, RTV will air “Eid Anondo Adda”, a programme centred around Bangladeshi celebrities living in the United States, from Eid day through the fifth day of Eid at 7:00am. Hosted by Olive Ahmed, the show’s various episodes will feature guests including Mila Hossain, Ipshita Shabnam Srabonty, Nova Firoze, Bindu Kona, and Tina Russell, among others.

Nagarik TV will broadcast celebrity talk show “Taray Taray” every night at 10:00pm for seven days starting from Eid day. Hosted by Srabonno Towhida, the programme will feature Nazifa Tushi, Peya Jannatul, Mumtahina Toya, Saraf Ahmed Zibon, Tangia Zaman Methila, Tariq Anam Khan, and Tabassum Chhoya, among others.
