Guns N’ Roses releases new song after 13 years
Legendary rock band Guns N' Roses, have released a new song titled 'Absurd' after 13 years. The band tweeted last Friday, "New. Fn. Song", as a caption to the video of what looks like a computerised Medusa, with an excerpt of the song. It is their first studio release since their 2008 album called 'Chinese Democracy'.
According to Rolling Stone, 'Absurd' is the revised version of their earlier song called 'Silkworms', which was not officially released.
The song was debuted by the band last Tuesday, during a concert at Fenway Park in Boston, when vocalist Axl Rose reminded the audience that some of them might have heard it under a different name. On Thursday, the band posted another video of their live performance of the song on their Twitter account.
The band are presently on a North American tour which will end in early October. They are also scheduled for a tour of Australia and New Zealand this fall and Europe in summer 2022.
