Manikganj celebrates 53rd founding anniversary of Udichi Shilpi Gosthi

A concert, titled 'Song of Equality', was held in Manikganj on the occasion of the 53rd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Gosthi. The singers performed against communal terrorism across the country at the event, held at the Shaheed Smriti Memorial premises in the district town yesterday.

Fellow of Bangla Academy and eminent folk singer Saidur Rahman Bayati, folk singers Faridul Islam, Zaman Uddin and Bashir Uddin, local singers Kajal Pal, Polly Akhter and Mim Akhter performed in this concert, which started in the evening and continued till 10 pm.

Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Gosthi District Unit President Kazi Lutfunnahar Sheuly, their General Secretary Mustafizur Rahman Mamun, Ekattar Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee District Unit President Advocate Dipak Kumar Ghosh, their General Secretary Advocate Sakhawat Hossain Khan, Jatiya Mahila Sangstha  District Unit Chairman Laxmi Cheterj and many song lovers  attended and enjoyed the event. 

The Udichi Shilpi Gosthi was established on October 29, 1986, with the dream of building a free world, and promote music, dance, and other artistic activities.
