Singer Abanti Sithi welcomes a baby girl

Singer Abanti Sithi has become the mother of a baby girl. The artiste shared the news on social media seven days after giving birth. She has named her daughter Anushree.

Her post reads, “The past few days have passed in a strange trance. A tiny living doll now sleeps in my arms. Our days and nights have become one, revolving entirely around her. We are blessed with the most precious gift we could ever ask for. We are incredibly grateful to all the wonderful people who helped and supported us throughout this time.”

The singer married London-based Amith Dey towards the end of 2023. Dey lives in London and works at a private company there.

A popular voice of the new generation, Abanti Sithi rose to fame through the Indian television music competition “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa”. She has recently drawn attention for several of her songs. In 2023, she was selected as Best Female Playback Singer at the National Film Awards.
