Indian actor Alia Bhatt has been announced as one of the presenters for the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards. The ceremony, organised by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), is scheduled to take place on February 22.

Alia joins a distinguished roster of international stars set to take the stage at the prestigious awards night. The presenters’ lineup includes prominent names such as Cillian Murphy, Kate Hudson, Aimee Lou Wood, Bryan Cranston, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Patrick Dempsey, Alicia Vikander, Kerry Washington, Riz Ahmed and Stormzy, among many others.

Several nominees are also expected to serve as presenters during the ceremony, including Ethan Hawke, Michael B Jordan, Emily Watson and Stellan Skarsgård.

Alia’s inclusion marks another significant moment for Indian representation at the global awards platform. In previous years, Priyanka Chopra Jonas presented at the BAFTAs in 2021, followed by Deepika Padukone in 2024.

The 2026 BAFTA Film Awards are expected to bring together leading talents from across the international film industry for one of the most anticipated nights in cinema.
