Based on the 400-year-old Bengali folk narrative Mymensingh Gitika, “Kajolrekha” was screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Netherlands and has also been included in the history department curriculum at the University of Dhaka, recognising its artistic and historical significance.

Beyond the two premieres, Maasranga will screen a popular full-length Bangladeshi film daily at 2:20 pm throughout the Eid holiday. On the 2nd day, viewers can watch “Priyotoma”, the highest-grossing film of 2023 directed by Himel Ashraf, starring Shakib Khan, Idhika Paul, and Shahiduzzaman Selim. The 4th day will feature “Jongli”, directed by M Raahim, with Siam Ahmed, Bubly, and Dighi. On the 5th day, Raihan Rafi’s “Toofan”, starring Shakib Khan, Mimi Chakraborty, and Masuma Rahman Nabila, will be broadcast.
