Nusraat Faria wraps shooting for ‘Bangabandhu’
Celebrated actress Nusraat Faria will be portraying the role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the Shyam Benegal directorial "Bangabandhu".
The actress posted on social media about wrapping her shoot for the film. She wrote on her Facebook page, "What an amazing journey! I am blessed, honoured and happy. It's a wrap for 'Sheikh Hasina' for the film, I will cherish every moment during the journey for the rest of my life."
The biopic on the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is a Bangladesh-India joint production.
The actress begun shooting for her scenes at the capital from Friday. The last lot of the shooting started on November 21, across various locations in Dhaka.
The film, expected to release in March next year, also stars Arifin Shuvoo, alongside Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed, and Sabila Nur among many other noted actors.
