The trailer of Siam Ahmed’s much-awaited film “Rakkhosh” was finally unveiled at midnight yesterday, much to the anticipation of his fans. Directed by Mehedi Hassan Hridoy, the trailer opens with a provocative dialogue questioning what truly holds women back.

The voiceover suggests that while love and care may seem enough, greed can trap people and ultimately lead to sin.

The ominous tone sets the stage for the story, where Siam Ahmed appears as the raging “Rakkhosh”, a man consumed by revenge and obsession over his beloved Juliet. The trailer is packed with intense moments of gunfire, violence and chaos, hinting at a dark transformation. However, what exactly turns Siam’s character into the feared “Rakkhosh” remains a mystery for now.

The film also stars Tollywood actress Susmita Chatterjee opposite Siam Ahmed.

In a press release, producer Shahreen Akter said audiences have not seen a truly wild love story on screen for quite some time. According to her, “Rakkhosh” is driven by a passionate and intense romance, while also exploring elements of family drama.

Actress Natalia Janoszek will also appear in the film in a special item song. The makers hinted that the film holds several additional surprises beyond her appearance.

“Rakkhosh” is slated for release in theatres during Eid‑ul‑Fitr. The film will soon be submitted to the Bangladesh Film Certification Board for clearance ahead of its theatrical release.
