Ranveer Singh’s ‘83’ to release on two OTT platforms

Ranveer Singh starrer and Kabir Khan directorial "83" is the second film to have release on two OTT platforms at a time. Netflix has the Hindi rights to the film, while the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam versions will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. According to reports, the film will  drop on both platforms by this month.

Although the film hit theatres last December, its box-office performance was hampered by the third wave of Covid-19.

Ranveer plays Kapil Dev in the film, which portrays India's victory in the 1983 cricket World Cup at Lord's.
