Eating more fish might save hearing

Eating more fish may reduce a woman's risk for hearing loss, according to a large new study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston found that consuming at least two servings of fish and omega-3s (long-chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids) each week could help prevent or delay hearing loss.
Common painkillers tied to blood clot risk
People who use painkillers called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) — which include aspirin, naproxen and ibuprofen, may be at increased risk for potentially deadly blood clots, a new study published in the journal Rheumatology suggests. These clots include deep vein thrombosis (a clot in the leg) and pulmonary embolism (a clot in the lungs).
