Seminar on Holmium Laser Therapy

World Down Syndrome Day observed

Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital in collaboration with Robi Axiata Ltd and AMDA Bangladesh have jointly observed World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, 2014 — says a press release.
On this day, they have taken joint initiatives to establish ‘Down Syndrome Parents Support Group Bangladesh’ which aims to serve as a platform for children born with Down Syndrome and their parents and to assist them in special needs including advocacy, education, employment and social inclusion.
Down syndrome is a condition in which a person is born with an extra copy of chromosome. People with Down syndrome can have physical problems, as well as intellectual disabilities.
