No Covid-19 death in 24hrs, positivity rate 1.03%

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The current positivity rate is 1.03 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.43 percent, the press release added.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,439 and the mortality rate is 1.45 percent.

At least 22 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in this 24hr period. The total number of cases meanwhile rose to 20,37,089, added the release.

A total of 2,133 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 74 patients recovered from Covid-19 in the same period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,87,603 the recovery rate at 97.57 percent, added the release.
