Sylhet division records highest daily Covid deaths

Twenty-two people died from Covid-19 in Sylhet division during 24 hours till this morning.

This is the highest number of deaths recorded in the span of a day due to coronavirus infection in the division so far.

Nine hundred and seventeen samples were tested in the division during the 24 hours of which 557 were positive, according to a daily report signed by Divisional Health Director Dr Himangshu Lal.

Current positivity rate in Sylhet district is 31.09 percent, in Sunamganj 21.58 percent, in Habiganj 24.40 percent and in Moulvibazar 32.66 percent.
