Dengue cases hit record daily rise: One dead, 546 hospitalised

At least one dengue patient died while 546 others were hospitalised across the country in the 24 hours until this morning, marking the highest number of admissions recorded in a single day.

With the latest death and new infections, the death toll this year has risen to 44, while the number of confirmed cases has reached 13,644.

At present, 1,123 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
