Dengue claims 2 more lives, 423 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least two people died of dengue while 423 others were hospitalised across the country in the 24 hours until 8:00am today.

The two deaths were reported from Khulna and Barishal divisions, with one fatality recorded in each.

With the latest figures, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year has risen to 56, while the cumulative number of confirmed cases has reached 16,104.

A total of 1,118 dengue patients are currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
