For a debutant it was not a bad start by young pace bowler Taskin Ahmed. The tall right-armer coming in place of injured Mashrafe Bin Mortaza bowled beautifully in his first two overs, conceding just 5 runs against Australia. He finished his quota of four overs for 24 runs and the wicket of hard-hitting Aussie batsman Glenn Maxwell.
