Safe Killa

Nilphamari. A newly constructed earthen 'killa', a safe place higher than usual floodwater level, at Kisamoter Char in Teesta River basin area in Dimla upazila of Nilphamari. UNDP provided financial, technical and monitoring support for construction of the shelter for people of the area in times of flood.
