Arka Boishakh 1433 Brings a Celebration of Bengali New Year to Dhaka
Arka Collective announces Arka Boishakh 1433, a two-day cultural festival bringing together music, food, art, and community in one vibrant space. Embedded in the traditions of Pahela Baishakh, the festival transforms Aloki into a festive gathering where culture, performance, and local creativity come alive.
The event will take place on 13 and 14 April 2026 at Aloki in Dhaka. On the first day, the gates will open from 2:00 PM until 11:50 PM, while the second day will run from 10:00 AM until 11:50 PM.
This April, Arka Boishakh will transform the venue into a vibrant cultural gathering, blending traditional celebration with creative expression. Designed as an inclusive public festival, the event invites visitors to experience Pahela Baishakh through cultural performances, art, food, music, and community participation.
Arka Boishakh reflects Arka’s broader vision of creating platforms where Bangladesh’s culture, creativity, and youth energy come together. By bringing heritage alongside evolving artistic voices, the event celebrates the identity of Bengali culture while remaining deeply embedded in tradition.
Visitors can expect an immersive environment filled with music, cultural performances, marketplace discoveries, interactive spaces, and traditional Baishakhi cuisine, recreating the festive atmosphere of a Baishakhi mela.
