Meanwhile, Spice and Rice is aiming at a cutting edge world-class display of culinary interaction and innovation, with Chef James's spectacular Pahela Baishakh Buffet, which is going to offer the traditional specialties plus modern additions and his famous 'themed' kebabs. From themed ice sculptures displayed in an array of colours and Bengali traditions to the delicious treats, this is going to be a huge event for Spice and Rice.  

On the other hand, Water Garden Brasserie is hosting a Pahela Baishakh 'deshi' lunch and dinner. Don't miss Dhaka's first ever ice made ice cream sundae counter with LED infusion! From freshly fried geelapis to hilsa to lentil extravaganza to bhortas to local sweets, there is much on offer. Children are invited to join in the festivities with face painting, magic shows, etc to make this day special for them.
