Bangla Perfumes launches new fragrance 

Leading fragrance distributor of Bangladesh, Bangla Perfumes, has launched 'Boss: The Scent for Her', the female counterpart of 'Boss: The Scent for Him'. This is the new perfume for women from the Hugo Boss Fashion House. Inspired by a journey of powerful seduction, 'Boss: The Scent for Her' exudes a sublime feminine elegance, and seductiveness, that unfold gradually over time. The perfume features an irresistibly potent combination of ingredients. The fragrance has a fruity, floral, sweet and powdery composition and is available in 30ml EDP, 50ml EDP and 100ml EDP.


Adroit's Baishakhi ensemble

With the upcoming Bengali New Year, Adroit has in store for you a beautiful Baishakhi ensemble. The wardrobe, for men, women, and children, consists of saris, panjabis, shalwar kameez suits, fatuas, T-shirts, shirts, etc. 
This time, the designs feature Bengali traditions and crafts. The designs are made through block, acrylic, embroidery, computer embroidery, spray, handwork, and karchupi. A combination of multiple methods has also been used. In terms of colours, red and white are dominant, but other colours can be seen as well.       


Amari Dhaka celebrates Earth Hour 2017

As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, Amari Dhaka participated in Earth Hour, the world's largest global climate change event, on Saturday, March 25 from 8:30PM to 9:30PM.  
Earth Hour's campaign 'Shine a light on climate action' is a call for every individual, every business and every community throughout the world to unite together to make change a reality.
To set an example for their care of the environment, Amari switched off their lights and air-conditioning in their rooms and offered a special candlelight dinner at Amaya Food Gallery and a special 90-minute SPA treatment with complimentary 'Mood Scrub' at the Breeze Spa. During this time, Amari saved 126 Kw of energy.


Earth Hour at Four Points by Sheraton

Four Points by Sheraton, Dhaka (one of the brands of Marriot Inc.) had observed Earth Hour on March 25 with all its associates and guests. Marriot has been observing this day each year, and donates for social causes. Every year, Earth Hour has been observed by turning down all the non-essential powers for an hour for a better change in the world.
This year's Earth Hour has been observed from 8.30PM to 9.30PM on the premises of Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka. All in-house guests were gathered in the lobby. The area was decorated with candles. Sari exhibition at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy

A sari exhibition, titled 'Banglar Sari Bangalir Sari', is currently running at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. The event is jointly organised by artist Kibria and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. The programme started on April 1 and will run till April 13, 2017 (11AM-8PM).
