Dhaka City has a happening literary life!  Come check out the fun taking place in Red Shift Book Café every Saturday.  10 am – Toddlers Reading Hour with Ambereen Lakhani. 11 am – Literary Brunch with Shazia Omar, featuring various writers each week. Red Shift Book Café also features books from Charcha for sale.  So come get your dose of words! To get an idea of what idea of what you are signing up for, consider a normal Saturday at Ambereen Lakhani. It all starts with the Toddler's reading hour followed by Brunch, where poets Kaiser Huq, Sabahat Jahan and Namira made an appearance last week. Then there's the Kid Story Creation Session with Shazia Omar, author of 'Like a Diamond in the Sky' followed by more time spent with various authors from across the country. It is truly a hands-on learning experience with plenty of excitement.
