Oman Air welcomesVIPs and Media on its inaugural flight to Dhaka

Oman Air welcomed VIPs and journalists aboard its celebratory inaugural flight from Muscat to Dhaka on Tuesday 3rd November 2015. The new route has been in service since 25th October with four flights per week on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Frequencies will increase from 1st December 2015, with flights on Mondays and Wednesdays being added to the schedule. Oman Air will serve customers on the new route using the award winning Airbus 330. Each guest on the inaugural flight will have the opportunity to enjoy Oman Air's acclaimed onboard hospitality, dining and inflight entertainment. 

The launch of the Dhaka service,marks the carrier's ambitious programme of growth, which will see the airline's fleet strength increase from its current 40 aircraft to around 57 in 2018 and increasing to 70 aircraft by 2020. The expanded fleet will enable Oman Air to offer customers a greater choice of destinations, increased frequencies on established routes and more convenient connections at Muscat International Airport. It will also offer unbeatable levels of comfort and amenity, building on Oman Air's reputation for offering an outstanding passenger experience.
