Reflections of Nature and Life

Athena Gallery of Fine Arts is holding the 17th solo painting exhibition of artist Gulshan Hossain, titled 'Reflections of Nature and Life'. The exhibition was inaugurated on 16 January, 2016. The exhibition will run till 6 February. 

Gulshan Hossain obtained her MFA degree in painting and drawing from Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, UK. She has had 16 solo exhibitions, in UK, Belgium, India and Bangladesh. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, in Australia, Egypt, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, UK, UAE, Iran, Sri Lanka and Canada.

Gulshan Hossain is indeed a very significant name in the world of contemporary art of Bangladesh. Presently, she works at the University of Development Alternative, Dhaka as an Assistant Professor of MFA Department of Painting.
