MAD GENIUS
NELSON MANDELA
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician, activist, lawyer, and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was South Africa's first black chief executive elected in a fully representative democratic election. His government focused on dismantling the legacy of apartheid through tackling institutionalised racism, poverty and inequality, and fostering racial reconciliation. Politically an African nationalist and democratic socialist, he served as President of the African National Congress (ANC) from 1991 to 1997.
"In my country we go to prison first and then become President.
After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.
A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination.
I detest racialism, because I regard it as a barbaric thing, whether it comes from a black man or a white man."
1 MINUTE PLEASE!
The young composer Adit started his musical journey with the band Myth but his biggest break came when he was given the opportunity to work as an assistant music director with musician Arnob. Under his guidance, Adit got to work in popular films like Monpura, Jaago and Deep Nebhar Aagey. His music album Ontohin was a smash hit, and it was instrumental in creating a space for the young musician in the local music industry. Inspired by his film producer father Saidur Rahman, Adit also stepped into producing a commercial film under his new production house called Fatman Films.
Musical inspiration
Obviously, it is Arnob bhai in Bangladesh and internationally, I would say it is Nitin Sawhney.
If you were not a music composer
I would have been a chef. I always wanted to open my own restaurant
Your upcoming projects
I have been working on a couple of films called Aagni, Rajotto, One way, Aadi and Hello Amit and also the album called Ontohin-2.
The time when you work the best
I don't want to limit myself in any specific time of the day. I work whenever I think I can concentrate completely on my work.
Musicians you would like to work with
James and Fuad.
