Mawa launch tragedy a crime

More than 100 people have died due to the launch capsize at Mawa. Most of those ill-fated passengers were returning to their work places after enjoying the Eid with their near and dear ones. It was not an accident but a crime committed by some greedy people as they took passengers way beyond the launch's capacity. Moreover, the launch did not have any fitness certificate. After such mishaps, we see that the authorities take some short-term measures and the culprits go unpunished. This accident could be avoided easily with proper monitoring by the authorities.
