Six shops gutted

At least six shops were gutted in a fire at Ramkrisnapur bazar in Homna upazila early morning yesterday. Locals said, the fire originated from an electric short circuit at a jwellary shop at about 5.00am and spread to adjoining shops. A fire unit from Homna uapzila rushed to the spot and doused the flame with the help of local people in one and a half hours.
