Jamaat leader sent to jail

A court yesterday sent Kamrul Hasan Milon, city ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami to jail after his surrender at noon. Milon was the executive director of Advanced Residential Model College Foundation. Also a shareholder of it, Milon was sacked from his post on charge of fraud. He allegedly made a fake paper regarding 'power of attorney' to capture position in the governing body of the college. Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) later recovered the fake documents from his possession. On April 29, Abdur Razzaq, director of the foundation filed a case against Milon, alleging fraudulent and deceptive activities.
