3 of a family electrocuted

Three of a family were electrocuted while another was critically injured around 11:00 am yesterday at village Char Chakdah in Sreepur upazila of the district. They deceased are Shuklal Mondal, 50, his son Uzzal, 22, and daughter Alladi Rani, 25. Police quoting family members said Shuklal and his son came in contact of a snapped electric wire when they were washing rotten-jute at a canal adjacent to their house. Hearing their screa, Shuklal's wife Madhuri Rani and her daughter rushed to save them. Within minutes Shuklal, his son and daughter died. Madhuri was admitted to Hospital in a critical condition.
