Mother sues gambler son

An octogenarian woman at Palashbari village under Sadar upazila filed a case with Sadar Police Station against her gambler son yesterday. Mokena, 81, was beaten up by her son Dulu Mia, 45, for protesting gambling at her house. Mokena said she tried time and again to persuade her son to give up the bad practice but to no effect. Finding no way, she filed a case against her son with Sadar Police Station.
