Indigenous man attacked

Unidentified criminals on Friday night entered the house of an indigenous day labourer and attacked him with sharp weapons at remote Chhoto Dolu village under Kawkhali upazila. Locals said, a gang of five entered the house of Bosudeb Chakma, 48, when he was sleeping. The criminals chopped him indiscriminately injuring him seriously. The neighbours took him to Kawkhali upazila health complex at about 3 am. He is now undergoing treatment there.
