Two brothers drown

Two brothers drowned in a pond at Ratanpur village under Gobindaganj upazila on Saturday. Police and family sources said, Shubho, 5, son of Shariful Islam of the village fell into water while playing by the side of the pond, adjacent to his house. His elder brother, Sohel, 8, who jumped into the pond to rescue Shubho also drowned. Later their bodies were recovered from the pond.
