Mother, children electrocuted

A mother and her two children were electrocuted at their house at Tajhat. The victims Nazmeen, 40, her daughter Eva, 17, and three-month-old son Riyadh. Eldest son Nayan said his mother along with his sister and brother was sleeping in a room at night. As the door of the room remained closed till 8:00 am, he called them. Getting no response, he broke open the door of the room and found the three lying dead on the floor. Kotwali police suspect Nazmeen was electrocuted when she was boiling milk in a rice cooker. When Eva with the kid on her lap came to Nazmeen's rescue they also became electrocuted. Nazmeen's husband Afzal was not at home as he works in Dhaka.
