3 new KU departments

Khulna University (KU) authorities have decided to open three new departments from 2009-2010 academic session. The three departments are physics, chemistry and fine arts. Meanwhile, admission test for first year honours courses for 2009-'10 will begin from October 26 and continue till October 28. Students who want to sit for admission tests have been asked to collect and submit their forms within October 18. According to officials, admission test in science, engineering and technology will be held at 10 am on October 26, fine arts at 3 pm on the same day, management and business administration at 10-30 am on October 27 and life science at 2 pm on the same day. Admission test in social science will be held at 10 am on October 28 and humanities at 1 pm on the same day. Website www.ku.ac.bd has been opened for admission seekers to get necessary information in this regard.
