Two die of diarrhoea in Pabna

Two people died of diarrhoea on Tuesday and Wednesday while 70 more diarrhoea patients were admitted to Pabna General Hospital in 24 hours from Wednesday to Thursday afternoon as diarrhoea situation has further deteriorated in the district. Affected with diarrhoea, Yunus Ali, a police constable of Faridpur Police Station in Pabna, died on Tuesday night in Faridpur upazila while Morjina Begum, 55, a resident of Pabna town, died on Wednesday night in Pabna General Hospital, said an official of district health department. "We are monitoring the situation and several medical teams are working in the diarrhoea-affected areas. Most of the diarrhoea patients are from Pabna municipality area," said Pabna Civil Surgeon Dr AHM Khairul Alam Chowdhury.
