Teenage girl violated

A 15-year-old girl alleged that a young man raped her at village Kalilabad under Muradnagar upazila early Saturday. The girl herself lodged a first information report (FIR) with Muradnagar police station accusing one person of rape and another of aiding and abetting the offence. The case has been recorded under sections 9(a) and 30 of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act. Contacted, the duty-officer of Muradnagar police station said, the victim was sent to hospital for medical examination. Accused Samsu and Rasel are absconding. A case was filed in this connection.
