11 shops gutted

At least 11 shops and a sawmill were gutted in two fire incidents in Khagrachhari and Manikganj districts early yesterday. In Khagrachhari, seven shops were gutted in a fire in Masterpara area under Sadar upazila of the hill district at around 4:30am, according to our correspondent. In Manikganj, fire damaged four shops and a sawmill at Aricha ghat under Shibalaya upazila at around 1:00am, reports UNB.
